Why we protect contact info.
Most platforms let contractors and clients contact each other directly from the start. This creates three problems:

Common questions.
Why can't I see the contractor's name or company?
We keep contractor identities hidden until deposit is paid to protect both parties. This prevents off-platform deals that expose you to unverified work and protects our pros from direct cold contact. Once deposit is confirmed, full contact details are unlocked.
What if I don't like the pro who was assigned?
After deposit, you can contact your pro directly to align on scope and scheduling. If there's a serious issue (no-show, major mismatch), contact us and we'll reassign at no charge.
How are pros verified on Contractor Palace?
Every pro goes through: license verification (for licensed trades), background check, insurance confirmation and a review of their work history before being approved. We re-verify annually.
What does the deposit cover?
The deposit is typically 10-20% of the estimated job cost. It secures your booking and is held in escrow. It's applied to your final payment when the job is completed to your satisfaction.
What if the job costs more than the estimate?
Your assigned pro will contact you directly to discuss any scope changes before proceeding. No surprise charges: any change orders require your written approval through the platform.
