How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year is standard for most homes: once in autumn after the leaves have fallen and once in spring. Trees overhanging your roof may mean you need it more often.
What does gutter cleaning usually cost?
It depends on the length of gutter run, the number of downspouts and how easy the roof is to access. A single-storey home costs less than a two-storey with a steep pitch. Your quote is free so you see a real number before you agree to anything.
Do I need to be home?
Not for most gutter cleans. Your pro needs access to the exterior of the house. Let them know how to get around the side and they can complete the job without you there.
What if a section is sagging or there is a gap?
